ABOUT
With over 30 years of experience, Psychic Medium Kelly Palmatier is known for having a strong focus on ethics and evidentiary details in her work. As an evidential medium, she picks up on details such as a spirit’s appearance, personality, manner of passing, family memories, inside jokes, and even exact names.
She studied parapsychology at the University of Kent at Canterbury in England with Professor Chris Cherry in 1986 and mentored under Psychic Jo Wynn in Sussex, England. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia in 1989.
She is the founder of the Asheville Psychic Society, author of the Psychic Credibility Scoring System, and founder of the Restitution Fund for Victims of Psychic Fraud. Her television series, Undercover Psychic (focusing on ethics and credibility in the psychic industry), is in preproduction.
The Psychic Credibility Scoring System was developed as a direct extension of her work, offering a clear and structured way to evaluate credibility based on observable practices rather than assumption or belief.
Over time, her work has been shaped not only by personal experience, but also by observing how the public interacts with the psychic industry.
She has seen how easily people can be misled when there are no clear standards in place, as well as how difficult it can be for ethical practitioners to distinguish themselves in a meaningful and consistent way.
PsychicCredibility.org was created to help address that gap by offering a practical framework that can be applied across the field. The goal is not to influence belief, but to provide a clear way to evaluate credibility, encourage accountability, and support informed decision-making for anyone engaging with psychic services.
